A person you choose who gets one short text when explicit content is gated on your device, so you do not face the moment alone. Never the details.
Why "ally" and not "accountability partner"?
Same idea, warmer word. An accountability partner sounds like a supervisor. An ally is a brother in your corner. The texts he gets are built to keep it that way: a check-in, never a report.
Does an ally need the app?
No. The texts reach his phone number. If he installs the app and signs in, he also sees whether your devices are standing guard, and the lapse alert lands there.
