- Sign in or create an account, then verify your email and your phone (we text you a code).
- Tap Accept Invite. That tap is your consent to the texts described here.
No link? Ask him to send his ally link from On Guard. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. He can remove you any time from his settings.
- If a known adult site is opened: a check-in with the app, the device and the time. No additional details.
- If On Guard is uninstalled, signed out or retired on a device: a text with the device and the time.
- If a device has not been active for 7 days: a text with the device and the date. If defense is switched off on a device: an alert in the On Guard app.
Allies are alerted with the app, the device and the time. No additional details.
Alert texts arrive in a group text with the member and one ally, so both read the same message. Allies never share a thread with each other. The welcome and removal texts go to the ally alone.
What to say when it lands: a text, a call, an invitation to grab food. You're not a referee. “Saw the ping. You good?” is usually enough.
