Is this actually private?

Visual detection runs on your device. Your browsing history is not collected. If you choose to send a screenshot after a false alarm, that image goes to On Guard for review. Account, settings, subscription and check-in data are handled separately.

Does it work the same on iPhone?

No. iPhone uses Apple’s Screen Time controls for site filtering and nudges in the apps you select. On Guard does not run visual detection on iPhone. Mac, Windows and Android run detection.

What exactly does my ally see?

A check-in names the app, device and time when a known porn site is opened on a supported device. It never includes the site, a screenshot or your browsing history. A visual-detection nudge alone does not send an ally text.

What happens when I choose Move on?

On Guard offers that platform’s own block or “not interested” action for you to choose. Elsewhere, Move on closes the content, or recommends alternative content. The illustration above uses a clean post to show the idea of moving on.

How does billing work?
