and can take it out.
The petition
To X Corp and Elon Musk,
In May 2024 you changed the X Rules to allow porn. We are asking you to change them back.
X calls itself the town square. A town square is where families walk and neighbors argue about the news. It is no place for porn, and no one in it should have to fight their own feed to stay clean.
Remove the line in the Adult Content policy that permits it, and take porn off X.
Signed, everyone who added their name to this petition.
Why it matters
Most people on X never chose this. They opened the app for the news, the game or a friend’s post, and the algorithm decided what came next. Every time it shows up, someone fights the same fight again, usually alone and usually late.
X can end that fight for millions of people by changing one rule.

Questions
Who is running this petition?
On Guard, a company that builds a real-time defense against porn and the feeds that push it. We started this petition because X’s rules allow porn, and we think they shouldn’t.
What happens to my information?
Your name and X handle go to X Corp with the petition and may be shown when we deliver it. Your email stays with On Guard and is never sold. We email you once to confirm your signature and once to help you share it. If you leave the updates box unticked, that’s all you get from us.
Why do I have to confirm by email?
So every name we hand X belongs to a real person. Only confirmed signatures count and get delivered.
Why do you need my X handle?
A petition from X’s own users carries more weight. Your handle shows X that the people asking are on its platform.
Is this against free speech?
X already removes things it decides don’t belong, like spam and violent threats. This asks X to put porn on that list.
Can I take my name off?
Yes. Email team@stayonguard.app from the address you signed with and we’ll remove it.
